International Accounting Manager

About the role

ebebek is seeking an experienced Accounting Executive to manage end‑to‑end accounting processes for its UK and Iraq operations. The role involves maintaining accurate records, ensuring regulatory compliance, and coordinating with internal and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all accounting processes for UK and Iraq in line with the Uniform Chart of Accounts and accounting principles.
• Enter and control accounting records, prepare finance files, and oversee customer and supplier reconciliations.
• Support monthly VAT declarations, lead accounting digitalisation initiatives, and coordinate payment lists.
• Maintain relationships with external consultants and monitor compliance with local legal requirements.
• Assist with monthly and annual closing activities, including depreciation, accruals, and trial‑balance controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in large‑scale multinational organisations.
• Strong analytical and numerical abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Team‑oriented mindset with effective communication capabilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP Accounting System.
• Advanced use of MS Office applications.
• Strong knowledge of accounting regulations and Uniform Chart of Accounts.
