Knitting Production Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a Knitting Production Supervisor to lead end‑to‑end knitting operations for a well‑established textile company. The role focuses on achieving efficiency, quality and sustainability targets while optimizing resources and developing the production team.

Key responsibilities

• Plan daily workflow, assign tasks and coordinate knitting floor activities.
• Develop, implement and continuously improve production processes, SOPs and machine settings.
• Optimize use of raw materials, machinery, equipment and workforce to meet efficiency targets.
• Analyse production issues, drive resolution and report key performance indicators to top management.
• Participate in quality meetings, ensure corrective actions and support continuous improvement initiatives (efficiency, quality, cost).
• Prepare and deliver training, conduct audits and monitor performance measurement systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in knitting production and shop‑floor team management.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving and leadership abilities.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Valid Class B driver’s licence and willingness to reside in or relocate to Tekirdağ, Turkey.

Required skills

• Advanced use of MS Office, especially Excel.
• Knowledge of quality management systems and continuous improvement processes.
• Experience with KPI reporting and performance tracking.
• Development and implementation of standard operating procedures.
• Machine settings optimisation for quality improvement.
