Production Engineer

About the role

As a Production Engineer at TEMSA, you will ensure efficient utilization of manpower, equipment, and resources while driving continuous improvement in a leading automotive manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze production plans and capacity requirements to optimize resource use.
• Monitor daily production activities to meet quality, delivery, and productivity targets.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Lead Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and cost‑reduction projects.
• Conduct root‑cause analyses and coordinate improvement actions for production and quality issues.
• Track and report key production performance indicators.
• Collaborate with Planning, Quality, Maintenance, Logistics, and Industrial Engineering teams.
• Support production teams while promoting safety, quality, and continuous improvement culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Electrical & Electronics Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in automotive manufacturing.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Technical drawing interpretation and manufacturing processes.
• Lean Manufacturing methodologies (5S, Kaizen, problem solving, root cause analysis).
• MS Office applications; ERP experience is an asset.
