Social Performance Specialist

About the role

C&A is seeking a Social Performance Specialist to lead Sustainable Supply Chain (SSC) processes at supplier sites, ensuring compliance with labour standards and driving continuous improvement across the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with suppliers and Production Units to conduct joint assessments, review SLCP results and verify remediation progress.
• Conduct independent factory audits and investigations, produce high‑quality English reports, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Deliver training sessions, facilitate supplier round‑tables and drive capability‑building projects such as Workplace Dialogue and Supplier Ownership programmes.
• Manage the Corrective Action Plan (CAP) process, collaborating with sourcing, quality and environmental teams.
• Travel domestically and internationally for site assessments, follow‑up visits and supplier training.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in auditing, preferably within manufacturing or merchandising.
• Strong knowledge of labour, health & safety and environmental legislation, including freedom of association.
• Excellent observation, analytical and judgement skills to identify risks and root causes.

Required skills

• Strong assessment and report‑writing abilities in English.
• Effective communication and training skills for guiding suppliers.
• Project and time‑management capabilities to prioritize tasks and ensure timely follow‑up.
