Software Engineering Team Lead

About the role

Join Ödeal, a fast‑growing fintech scale‑up, as a Software Engineering Team Lead. You will drive the design of code and data architecture, provide technical leadership, and manage a multi‑functional product team in an agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and evolve code and data architecture for new and legacy systems.
• Lead and mentor a cross‑functional engineering team, fostering collaboration and creativity.
• Ensure successful delivery, growth, and output of the product team.
• Work closely with the product owner and other stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems or a related field.
• At least 6 years of software development experience, including 3+ years in a team‑lead role.
• Proven experience with microservice architecture and re‑platforming monoliths.
• Strong understanding of Agile (Scrum) methodologies.

Required skills

• C#, Java, Node.js (nice to have Python or Go).
• Git source‑control and branching/merging workflows.
• Docker and Kubernetes container technologies.
• Unit‑testing, integration‑testing, Domain‑Driven Design (DDD) and Test‑Driven Development (TDD) practices.
