Global Planning Director

About the role

Hayat is looking for a Global Planning Director to lead its worldwide supply chain planning function from the headquarters in Istanbul. The role will shape the planning strategy that supports the company’s growth ambitions across its FMCG portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a global supply chain planning strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Lead and develop large planning teams across multiple countries and regions.
• Own and continuously improve global Demand Planning, Supply Planning and S&OP/IBP processes.
• Establish best‑in‑class planning capabilities, KPIs and operating models.
• Partner with commercial, manufacturing, procurement, logistics, finance and regional leadership to ensure alignment.
• Lead executive‑level S&OP/IBP forums and facilitate data‑driven decisions balancing service, cost and capacity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Economics or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in supply chain planning, demand planning, supply planning, S&OP/IBP and integrated supply chain management within multinational FMCG organizations.
• Proven leadership of large‑scale planning organizations across multiple countries.
• Track record of driving supply chain transformation, process optimisation and digital planning initiatives.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
