Inbound Logistics Coordinator

About the role

The Inbound Logistics Coordinator will manage inbound logistics operations across Turkey, ensuring smooth customs clearance, compliance, and 3PL relationships. Reporting to Distribution & Logistics, the role works closely with DC and trade compliance teams to drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Organise, monitor and control inbound logistics processes, focusing on customs clearance and Tareks inspections.
• Monitor payments, shipping documentation, certificates of origin, and FTA validation.
• Handle pre‑alerts, arrival notices, inspection files, and sample shipments.
• Coordinate domestic transport to distribution centres and update rate reports and DSRs.
• Follow up freight invoices, bill of lading surrender, and damage reports.
• Renew OKSB for Levi Strauss Turkey and enter export invoices.
• Measure vendor service standards and productivity, ensuring targets are met.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and act as point of contact for escalated issues.

Required profile

• University degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in distribution and logistics.
• Strong knowledge of Turkish customs procedures, including Tareks processes.
• Excellent analytical ability with a data‑driven decision‑making approach.
• Proven ability to work in a fast‑paced, matrix‑reporting environment with minimal supervision.
• Fluent in English and Turkish, with strong communication skills.
