Information Security Associate

About the role

You will join the Information Security function in Istanbul, supporting the local Information Security Officer and the Head Office CABCM Function. The role focuses on defining and monitoring cybersecurity and business continuity objectives for the branch.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor branch information security and cybersecurity posture and prepare reports for top management.
• Implement and update cybersecurity policies, standards and procedures in line with the Group framework.
• Continuously monitor cybersecurity and business continuity programs to ensure compliance with objectives.
• Coordinate security projects with Head Office and local stakeholders.
• Track regulatory changes and emerging cyber threats.
• Review vulnerability reports, hot‑fixes and patches.
• Oversee user access lifecycle activities and maintain access control documentation.
• Support business continuity activities, including Business Impact Analysis, testing and reporting.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in cybersecurity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Experience in information security management, business continuity management and BIA methodologies.
• Knowledge of IT and cybersecurity risk management, application security and vulnerability assessment.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP or CISM (preferred).
• Financial services industry knowledge is a plus.
