Material Planning Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Material Planning Specialist to join Lesaffre’s Supply Chain team in Turkey. The specialist will ensure uninterrupted supply of raw materials, packaging, and auxiliary items to support production across our facilities in Istanbul, Amasya and Lüleburgaz.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and align material supply with production schedules for multiple manufacturing sites.
• Analyze material requirements, monitor inventory levels and adjust safety stock parameters.
• Coordinate purchasing activities and manage imported material supply with internal and external stakeholders.
• Create, maintain and update material master data in SAP, including new products and material changes.
• Support product launches, phase‑outs and design changes, ensuring supply chain impact is addressed.
• Lead material planning for new plant, product and process implementation projects.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with experience in material planning or supply chain operations.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally and communicate effectively with production, purchasing and logistics teams.
• Detail‑oriented and capable of managing multiple sites and projects simultaneously.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP material master data management.
