Project Manager - International Superstructure Projects

About the role

A construction company undertaking prestigious international projects is looking for an experienced, leadership-oriented Project Manager for upcoming international superstructure projects. The role covers the full project lifecycle, from mobilization to final handover, and requires willingness to work on international assignments and relocate to project sites.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all technical, administrative, contractual, legal and financial processes from mobilization to handover.
• Set up the master project schedule, coordinate site teams and monitor progress to ensure on-time delivery.
• Control project budgets, cash flow and costs, ensuring compliance with contracts, local regulations and international standards.
• Supervise procurement, subcontracting, supplier coordination and progress payments.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly progress reports, cost analyses, budget forecasts and variance reports for the Board of Directors and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with local authorities and government bodies to obtain permits, licenses and approvals.
• Ensure compliance with OHS/HSE requirements, local legislation, contracts and quality standards.
• Lead and motivate multicultural project teams and identify and mitigate project risks.
• Maintain communication with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a reputable university.
• At least 20 years of active site and management experience on large-scale, high-quality superstructure projects.
• Proven track record leading teams in multicultural, dynamic environments, with strong leadership, decision-making and crisis management skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English and ability to coordinate with international stakeholders.
• Willingness to work on international assignments and relocate abroad as required.

Required skills

• Strong command of project management methodologies, including planning, budgeting, cost control and resource management.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Primavera P6 and MS Office.
• Experience with ERP systems; knowledge of IFS is an asset.
