Senior Data Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our global team and help turn complex business requirements into reliable, analytics‑ready data solutions. The role focuses on building scalable pipelines, data warehouses and cloud‑based analytics platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration processes across enterprise sources.
• Architect and implement Data Warehouse, Data Lake/Lakehouse solutions and analytical data models with emphasis on performance and quality.
• Collaborate with AI engineers and business stakeholders to deliver AI‑ready datasets, Power BI reports, dashboards and semantic models.
• Contribute to the evolution of a modern cloud‑based Data & Analytics platform using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks or equivalent technologies.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and optimise data workloads while establishing best practices for data modelling, ETL/ELT and data quality using tools such as Cognos and SQL Server.
• Translate business and analytical requirements into scalable engineering solutions and influence technical design decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or a related discipline.
• 4–6+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence or Data Warehousing.
• Proven hands‑on experience with SQL, Cognos, Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, BO/BW and data modelling.
• Strong understanding of BI and reporting environments, preferably Power BI.
• Experience with modern cloud data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory or Azure Databricks.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to bridge data engineering, BI and business analytics.
