Process Lead – Financial Reporting & Audits (Turkey Market)

About the role

The Process Lead will manage closing, controllership, audits, accounting and financial reporting for the Turkey market. The role requires strong financial reporting experience, deep knowledge of IFRS and Turkish GAAP, and proficiency in SAP.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare standalone and consolidated year‑end financial statements in accordance with IFRS/Local GAAP and coordinate with auditors.
• Ensure timely completion of statutory and tax audits, and handle tax return filings, indirect tax, and transfer pricing reports.
• Review monthly and quarterly P&L and balance‑sheet reporting, prepare balance‑sheet schedules and business variance reports.
• Coordinate with auditors, finance, and business teams to resolve audit queries and support entity liquidations.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives, automation projects, and monitor hygiene areas such as open payables.

Required profile

• Chartered accountant with at least 5 years of experience in a multinational environment and global reporting responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of Turkish GAAP, tax regulations and IFRS.
• Excellent communication skills in Turkish and English.
• Experience in a Big 4 or similar large accounting firm is preferred.
