Senior IT Auditor

About the role

Mapfre is seeking a highly motivated Senior IT Auditor to lead and participate in IT and cybersecurity audit engagements across its Turkish operations and globally. You will support the Digital Transformation strategy by assessing emerging technologies, data governance, and AI controls.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and report on IT and cybersecurity audits covering information security, cloud, business continuity, DevOps, data management and AI.
• Follow up on audit recommendations, assess corrective actions and contribute to risk‑based audit planning.
• Evaluate data governance, data quality, traceability and ethical use of data across business processes.
• Collaborate with local and international stakeholders, maintaining effective relationships with technology, security and business teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in IT audit, cybersecurity audit or technology risk.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, adaptable and eager to learn in a continuously evolving environment.
• Fluent English (B2‑C1) and willingness to travel up to 10% annually.

Required skills

• Solid understanding of IT General Controls (ITGC), cloud technologies and cybersecurity frameworks.
• Experience with data governance, data lineage and AI‑enabled process risk assessment.
• Programming and automation capabilities, especially Python and PowerShell scripting.
• Knowledge of compliance standards such as KVKK, PCI‑DSS, ISO 27001, ISO 20000.
