Tax Manager – Corporate Tax & Compliance

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to lead corporate tax compliance and planning for our client in Turkey. The role involves optimizing tax expenses, ensuring full regulatory compliance, and providing expert advice on complex tax matters.

Key responsibilities

• Drive optimisation of tax‑related expenses by leveraging tax incentives and options.
• Ensure full compliance with VAT, income, corporate and other relevant taxes.
• Act as primary tax advisor, supporting robust tax processes and procedures.
• Represent the company in tax inspections, manage tax claims and oversee litigation.
• Deliver accurate and timely tax reporting to internal stakeholders and external authorities.
• Prepare deferred tax calculations for IFRS reporting and execute inflation accounting.
• Collaborate on projects with tax implications such as investments, M&A, system migrations and legal restructurings.
• Implement new tax regulations and integrate them into organisational controls.

Required profile

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree with at least 6 + years of progressive experience in tax compliance, planning and reporting.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Turkish tax laws and international tax regulations.
• Proven experience advising large organisations on complex Turkish and international tax topics.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills in English and Turkish.
• Commitment to continuous professional growth and staying informed of tax legislation changes.
